The CCM Tacks 9090 skates offer an anatomical fit with a one-piece boot construction. They provide custom memory foam ankle padding for added comfort and a lightweight composite outsole for optimal energy transfer. On the other hand, the True TF9 skates prioritize a customizable fit, as they are handcrafted to each player's unique foot measurements for a personalized experience. With a carbon fiber one-piece construction, the TF9 skates offer lightweight durability and excellent power transfer. Both alternatives provide players with high-quality options comparable to the Bauer Supreme 3S.
Progression of the Bauer Supreme 3S
The Bauer Supreme 3S hockey skate, released in 2020, currently doesn't have a direct predecessor within the Supreme line with a distinct model name like "1S" or "2S." Bauer sometimes introduces minor improvements to existing skate lines throughout their production cycle without necessarily introducing a new numbered model.

The composite boot is stiff while still maintaining some flexibility for maneuverability. Very responsive. |
The fit on the Supreme 3S is a major improvement over my previous skates. The break-in period was reasonable, and there weren't any major pressure points. |
They feel like slippers on my feet. There was no lace bite like in my Vapors, and there was no rubbing in the toe cap. |
👎 Cons |

This skate is not meant for a wide foot! After 45 minutes, I wanted to get off the ice; it took me up to 2 hours to walk normally. |
My son is having a hard time with these skates. They are not comfortable even after 2 sessions of molding and spending money on special inserts. |
They put so much pressure on the outside of my feet. Super uncomfortable for wide feet. |
The 3S will give you a lot of power, more power than you would get with some of the older models. It features the Pro TPU outsole, which has additional stiffness in the lower portion of the skate, delivering more speed. It's lightweight, and the upgraded foam also adds comfort. The 3S has the stainless steal runner and the trigger release system, allowing you to quickly swap out the blade. It's a skate you could play multiple seasons with.
