Progression of the Supreme Mach

Before 2022, Ultrasonic and Hyperlite contended as Bauer’s top-of-the-line skates. Currently, the Supreme Mach elite-level skate has evolved to take that #1 position.

Upgrades include:

  • The Mach skate is equipped with a new 12K Carbon CURV composite boot lowering the weight by 5% compared to the Ultrasonic.
  • Unibody Powerwrap Technology is upgraded from the Ultrasonic, creating a stiffer outsole.
  • Upgraded AMP Flex Facing technology in between the second and third eyelet, creating a flex point (15% more flex) to help increase plantar ankle flexion.
  • Debut of an amended toe cap.
  • This model gives players the ability to choose the steel that best fits their situation and style.
👍 Pros
Great for for generating power. The carbon fiber boot and stiff flex really help you transfer energy from your pushes into increased speed.
Most comfortable skates I've ever worn, hands down -- these were good to go after two bakes. Zero pain.
Everything about them is top-notch, from the materials to the construction. Way sturdier than the Vapors.
👎 Cons
Not gonna lie -- these are an investment. Not worth the $ unless you're serious about hockey.
Not ideal for those with narrower feet. They got looser the more I used them.
The flex eyelet is gimmicky. You're better off dropping down to a cheaper model.
The Mach is the premiere equivalent of the HyperLite skate. In my opinion, the Mach is really popular because it's all black and can look new even after two years of pretty intensive play. I know that color doesn't impact feel or performance... but the all black is one reason the Mach has been really popular. Also, the power of this skate is a lot like the Ultrasonic, which came out right before it. The Mach is super lightweight, which means you can go a lot faster, and of course, Supreme is always featuring new kinds of foam and other tech in their skates.
