Progression of the A1:

👍 Pros
Great shaft with a lightweight feel. The added texture grip for quick hand shifts is a nice touch.
Love the weight and feel of this stick. Great adjustable grip for younger players.
It's light but tough. My son and I both use it when we play middie. It’s taken some hard stick checks, and aside from scratches, there are no dents or bending.
👎 Cons
The A1 feels heavy to me.
It’s not an ideal shaft for a two-way midfielder like myself. It dents easily, so I don’t think it will last me very long.
The shaft is sand blasted which will wear out your gloves faster. Other than that, great shaft. .
The A1 has broken onto the scene in the last year or two with the most recent generations. The new 2025 A1 model comes in 3 colors, white with purple accents, gunmetal with blue accents, and black with gold accents. The new grip for this shaft is made to withstand all weather conditions without changing the weight. This shaft is a great choice for players who play year-round while looking for a lighter alloy shaft.
