👍 Pros |

I play hockey once a week. The 70 is light and cool, it has good vision, and has face protection with the cage. The sizing is also easy to adjust. |
For a relatively inexpensive helmet, it does the job and then some. Fit and comfort is excellent. It fully covers my ears and the chin strap has plenty of room. |
It fits like a glove. I took the helmet right out of the box and put it on my head; no adjustments were required. |
👎 Cons |

The back of the helmet has good adjustability; however, I do find that it’s a little tight across from side to side, which you can't adjust. |
You cannot take the ear covers off. It’s also a bit wide, so my old face shield does not fit. |
Both screws on the cage came off really soon after I started using it. |
The Tacks 70 is a solid entry-level helmet that punches above its weight. The dual-density liner provides a comfortable fit and decent impact protection, making it a good option for recreational players or those just starting out. The Easy Flip Clip adjustment system is a nice touch for finding the perfect fit without any tools. While it might not have all the features of the higher-end models, the Tacks 70 offers good value for money.
