The JetSpeed FT1 is the first ever one-piece boot frame skate in the JetSpeed family. This is a highly refined skate design with leading edge engineering to help maximize a player’s speed on the ice. With its ultra lightweight structure and the monocoque construction the FT1’s are the lightest pro caliber JetSpeed skate to date that offer players two critical benefits: a complete 360 degree fit and a seamless energy transfer that helps generate more speed with every stride. Most important to the JetSpeed FT1 will come in the new boot design with a familiar name, RocketFrame with LiteFrame 360 Technology. This boot is composed entirely as a one-piece boot frame designed to wrap around the foot for a fully anatomical 360° degree fit around AND under the foot – offering players with a close tapered fit throughout the entire skate. The construction eliminates the need for an outsole which provides greater “foot-to-skate” contact area and an unprecedented direct energy transfer platform to help generate extreme speed. With the new 1-piece design and the incredible heat molding characteristics of the SpeedCore 3, this skate essentially removes any negative or empty space to provide a 100% customizable fit tailored to the player’s specifications. Equipped with CCM’s best, the FT1 is outfitted with TotalDri Pro liner; this is a premium lightweight material that wicks away moisture very quickly and works well with the vent placed on the underside of the skate where the outsole would be found if it had one. These features work together to push any moisture out of the boot, keeping the skate even more lightweight and comfortable. For durability purposes, abrasion patches were added to the liner where the eyelets are found along with CCM’s smooth contour pro soft comfort padding around the collar of the skate for superior foot and ankle comfort.
