Stiffer through the center of the board, softer nose and tail though the tail is stiffer than the nose, pretty standard directional twin flex. It is mellow enough to work without being hooky, holds a solid edge through your turns. At speed the Rossignol One charges hard, a urethane permieter provides additional shock absorption and the board is pretty damp and stable underfoot. The One LF aggressively surfs the crud and push piles and handles well through chop and crust with enough float for the pow days.
The board is four years old (I bough it in 2000) and has some damage around the bindings contour. It was my first board and I used Rossignol Cobra bindings that are made out of plastic. It seems that less expensive plastic bindings, like the Rossi Cobra, tend to cause this type of damage on the board's surface. Nevertheless, the board works great, and once the bindings are on, one can't barely notice the damage.
Every year I tuned it and waxed it with hot wax.
