The Bauer Vapor Hyperlite is a top-tier ice hockey skate designed for professional and aspiring professional players who prioritize agility and quickness. It features the revolutionary Powerfly holder, which flexes to enhance responsiveness during various skating movements, leading to faster acceleration and smoother transitions. The skate's lightweight design, achieved through the use of Aerolite foam, allows for increased mobility without sacrificing support or comfort. Within the Bauer lineup, the Vapor Hyperlite sits alongside the Supreme line, with the former emphasizing quickness and maneuverability, while the latter focuses on power and energy transfer.

I've had multiple pairs of the HyperLites, both retail and custom-made. It's like the HyperLite took the best elements from all the top Vapor skates and made them even lighter and more comfortable. The Hyperlite is the lightest skate I've ever used. It's almost so light that you need to get adjusted to putting pressure differently using your blades because heavier skates do give you a little extra weight. Also, it's a great travel skate. Everything is weight-based if you're flying somewhere, so the HyperLite is an excellent option.
