33.5” Marucci CAT X one piece alloy BBCOR Baseball Bat. The CATX is a one-piece bat that features AZR Alloy and Multi-Variable Wall Design. AZR Alloy is a complex combination of thermal treatment processes to strengthen the alloy for a more responsive, forgiving feel. Multi-Variable Wall Design is a wall design that creates an expanded sweet spot and thinner barrel walls that are more forgiving after off-centered contact. Liquid-Gel Dampening System is also prevalent on the CATX, meaning that there is a precise amount of liquid gel installed in the knob that absorbs vibrations, creating a smooth and solid feel during contact. CATX also includes a new barrel profile that more evenly distributes the mass of the ring-free, multi-variable wall design across the entire barrel for a more consistent sweet spot. The Marucci CAT X Baseball Bat features both BBCOR and USSSA certifications and is a single-piece alloy bat with a well-sized barrel and excellent feel. CATX came out in 2023. The first gen is a white ribbon silver bat. For the second run, Marucci came out with a version called the CATX Vanta. It's a blacked-out, limited-edition. Both gens are an alloy one-piece bat, both very strong performers. They took the alloy and strength from the CAT9 and applied the balance and feel from the CAT8 to develop the CATX.
